Outschool is an educational marketplace of live online classes for learners in PreK through 12th grade. Teachers connect with motivated students in a variety of classes in this unique learning experience.
With Outschool, you truly are in control of your own schedule. Open up classes whenever you want. The majority of learners are from the United States, but students all over the world take classes on Outschool. Your classes can also be as long as you like.
You set your own pay as an Outschool teacher. Most classes are around $12/learner for a one hour class. The number of learners who enroll in your class will determine your pay for that class. You decided how many learners you want in each class.
Outschool takes a 30% fee.
Take a look at the requirements below. Be sure to reach out to me if you have any questions.

The Outschool application includes basic demographic information, questions about why you want to teach, and a description of the classes you would like to teach and why you qualify to teach those classes.
You will submit a 30-90 second video showcasing your personality, teaching style, passion for teaching, etc.
Once you are approved as a teacher on the Outschool platform, a third party company will complete a background check.
Outschool offers many training webinars and articles. These are not mandatory, but highly encouraged and very helpful.
Once you are on the platform, you will want to create an inviting and memorable profile page, including a picture, description and video. (This video is typically different than the one you submitted with your application.)
