Hey friends, it's me, Julie!  I'm so happy you stopped by my website.  Let me tell you a little about myself.  I have been a teacher since a few weeks after college graduation in 2000.  I have taught 2nd and 3rd grade in a traditional elementary classroom.  During that time, I truly found my calling of helping kids learn and working with other teachers. 

In 2013, I changed career paths and became the Director of Children's Ministry at a church. I was able to use my creativity, experience with teaching and my leadership skills to start a program from scratch, which grew to be a successful ministry. 

A few years into my church job, I began to really miss teaching.  I had heard about online teaching and decided to give it a try.  That was in 2017 and I've never looked back. I now work from home, teaching online for VIPKid and Outschool.  I am so grateful for the flexibility online teaching gives me.  I am able to be there for my family, attend field trips, volunteer in my kids' schools and enjoy my evenings without grading papers or writing lesson plans.  

The best part is that I can continue to do what I LOVE without the stress.  

I simply teach.
